Meath U10 girls blitz a success

Meath U10 girls blitz a success

The U10 Girls U10 blitz on Saturday was a resounding success with each of the 12 teams getting 1.5 hours of solid game time. The teams from across the county were well matched and everyone was very complementary to the club setup and approach to the blitz.

Walterstown’s U10 Parents really came to the plate and there was a significant array of refreshments across the full event.

Using the main pitch brought additional gravitas to the day and a great team effort turned it around to be ready and set for the senior game.
Having the accomplished Mollie Browne giving the medals to the girls was a nice treat to highlight their potential.

Special thanks to Kevin and Ciaran who went above and beyond helping with setup and wrapping up.
The two county board reps at the matches today were very complementary around the full event.

The Walterstown U10 girls now go to Croke Park on Monday Morning with Na Fianna to be the representing Meath LGFA at the National Blitz.

Thanks to Steve McDonald for the update
