Walterstown faced neighbours Skryne in what was a very one sided match in Walterstown on St.Patricks Day.

Walterstown opened the scoring inside the first minute from Conor Cullen, Skryne however responded scoring 1-02 in the next 5 minutes to go 4 points ahead with 10 minutes gone. Brian O’Connell brought it back to just a goal between the sides with 12 minutes gone. Skryne however completely took control for the rest of the half scoring 3-03 with Walterstown only managing to add a further point to their tally to leave the sides going in at the break – Walterstown 0-3 v Skryne 4-04.

Skryne continued to dominate in the second half scoring 2-02 in the first 10 minutes. Brian O’Connell added a further 3 points to the blacks score however with the 18 point gap that Skryne had built up Walterstown had to much to do. Skryne continued to add to their tally with Walterstown managing 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. Skryne ran out deserving 6-12 to 2-06 winners.
