Meath Senior Football Championship winners on five occasions and two time Leinster Senior Club Football Championship winners, Walterstown GFC has a proud tradition and a bright future. We provide Gaelic Football for the people in our communities of Johnstown and Walterstown from U5 level up to adult level, no matter what your ability. The club boosts top class facilities including three astro turf pitches (available for commercial hire also), two full sized playing pitches and a juvenile pitch. We also have a top spec gym, a club bar and a function room. A warm Walterstown welcome awaits you!

Blacks beat Vincent’s to advance in IFC
The Blacks are through! And itβs by virtue of score difference for Neil Reynoldsβ side after they secured a 17 point victory over St Vincentβs in Ratoath on Sunday afternoon. Itβs them and Oldcastle who advance from Group A after the latter secured victory over St Michaelβs in the other group game, while St Vincentβs go on to do battle to save their intermediate status just a year after coming up from the junior ranks. read more…

IFC: Round 2 defeat for Walterstown
After victory in the opening round over a fancied Oldcastle side, Walterstown were firmly brought back down to earth by St Michaelβs in Kells on Sunday afternoon. The Blacks trailed by nine at the break and were much improved after the turnaround but the Carlanstown outfit had six to spare at the long whistle and were full value for their second win of the campaign. read more…
