Our under 12’s had their first outing of the year in the 2015 Spring league. We were short 7 players from the panel for one reason or another but the 22 players that played (we had 2 eleven a side teams playing at the same time and aggregate scores decided the game) all gave it everything which is all we can ask. One team lost by 5 scores the other team lost by 8. Both teams were well in the games with only 5 mins to play, but the Simonstown boys finished the stronger in both games. Too be fair to our boys, everyone of the Simonstown boys were born in 2003, were as only half out team were and the other half born in 2004, so we are very young.
Next up is a challenge at home to Mullagh Co. Cavan, next Saturday with a 3.30 throw in.
Training continues on Tuesday and Friday nights at 7pm.
