This was a top against bottom encounter in Division 3 where Walterstown faced the task of trying to register a win against the league leaders.  Walterstown got off to a good start with Jack Doyle slotting over the bar early on. Two first goals from Jamie Flynn, plus the now regular string of impressive saves from Karolis saw the boys head in at half time with an 6 point margin.

Oliver’s upped the pressure in the second half with the help of two goals , and had reduced the lead to 2 points, the momentum appeared to be changing. But Jamie wasn’t finished scoring goals, and bagged another 3 in the second half, to bring his tally to 5 for the game, this added to the 5 points from Andrew McConnell saw Walterstown finish the stronger and win by 10 points in the end. Well done lads.
