A very early start for both teams on Saturday morning as Walterstown faced St Utlans in the U15 cup in Kilmainham.
These sides had met previously this season where Ultans were the victors. Walterstown got off to a tremendous start when Lisa O Neill scored a goal for Walterstown in the opening minute. Moments later a great pass from Sophie Dempsey set up Marie McCarthy who grabbed Walterstowns second. A third goal quickly followed as Mollie Browne dispatched the ball into the back of the Ultans Keepers net. Walterstown were three goals up to a point after 10 minutes. Further goals from Mollie, Marie and Aoife Keegan saw the girl head into the break with a comanding lead.

Ultans came out revigorated after the break quickly grabbing a goal and a point. But Marie McCathy pulled one back for Walterstown. Utlans came back again with another goal and point, but the Walterstown girls were not going to allow them back into the game, Another two goals from Mollie Browne saw Walterstown ease across the line and lift the cup
