This was always going to be a tough encounter for Walterstown and this was compounded by the absence of some key players. Senechalstown was firmly in control and went in at the break 7 points up. (1:04 to 3:05). Senechalstown then increased their lead by scoring three early points in the second half and at one point had a ten point lead. But the lads never gave up and late goals from Timi Sowunmi and Adam Barrett actually saw the lads draw level with Senechalstown with only minutes remaining, only for Senechalstown to attack and bag a goal of their own which was enough the clinch the game
