The Walterstown GFC Under 7s & 8’s wrapped up a very successful season on Saturday with a small party and medal presentation in the Clubhouse.
A big thank you to Conor Farrell – Meath Junior footballer for turning up on the day to meet all the boys and girls and also present them with their Medals and Selection boxes. They were very excited to meet Conor and everybody got time to get pictures with him. Conor is a Leinster Championship winner and All Ireland Finalist with the Meath Junior Team.
For all the children’s hard work and dedication this year, the coaches and club wanted to recognise this and commissioned a very special GAA Medal “Medallion” for the 2017 season. We hope they look back on this year with fond memories
After 38 weeks of training and Go Games in 2017 they now take a break until next year. We hope to see them all back in 2018.
A big thank you to all the kids, coaches and parents for all their hard work during the years. And we look forward to seeing everyone back in the new year.
Also well done to Walterstown’s U7 star Daire Mulvihill who put in a stellar performance on the Toy Show on Friday night.
