Walterstown 3-12 Wolfe Tones 2-6
Walterstown Under 14’s put together their most complete performance this season in beating Wolfe Tones in the semifinal of the Roinn C under 14 championship.
After a tight start where both teams traded early points, the boys pulled ahead with some strong interplay to lead 7 points to 3 at half time.
The second half started tight again but a strong counter attack lead to a goal from full forward Ryan Conway. Now on top, Walterstown started to pull away with good team play leading to two further goals from John Cullen. A late rally from Wolfe Tones was weathered by Walterstowns who ran out 9 point winners. A final against Longwood /Clonard awaits.
