Even though there is no football permitted due to the current nationwide level 5 lockdown, the club is continuing to work behind the scenes in preparation for when we are allowed to return to play. With the loss of earnings from our hugely popular underage discos, membership will play and even more vital role in our club’s finances this year. We also want to be as prepared as possible for the season ahead.
Please note that the GAA membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. Playing members should not be permitted to participate in any training or fixtures until they have been registered for the 2021 playing year. If a claim is notified to Willis Towers Watson (Willis Towers Watson handle all GAA injury insurance claims) and the claimant is not in the membership system at the date of his/her claim or is registered after the injury date, the claim will be declined and no appeals will be considered.
Looking forward to welcoming you all back in the gates as soon as possible!
