Walterstown vs Meath Hill A League Div 2

Walterstown played host to Meath Hill in Div 2 of the A League on Sat evening. Meath Hill got off to the better start in this match and quickly scored the game’s first 2 points. However Walterstown drew level with them and thanks to good shooting and a Ruairi O Dowd goal they were 1-7 to 1-4 ahead at the interval. In the second half Walterstown went further ahead with Brian O Connell and O Dowd notching up some fine scores. Meath Hill continued to fight hard and scored a goal near the end to bring the gap down to 4 points. However Walterstown won by 1-15 to 2-08
