This evening (Wednesday, March 25), the GAA has instructed all clubs, including our own, to close our facilities completely.
We understand this comes at a difficult time, as many people in our community were safely using our facilities for recreational purposes during the current crisis. However, we take our instructions from Croke Park and, of course, we, as a club, like everyone else in our community, have a big role to play in halting the spread of Covid-19.
Our facilities, including our pitches and property will be closed for recreational purposes, including walking, casual games and gatherings. Both entrance gates will be locked to restrict access from this evening.
We sincerely hope all our players, members and volunteers are safe during these very unusual times and we really look forward to returning to normal as soon as possible.
Finally, we would like to reiterate the messages from the HSE; please wash your hands often, practice social distancing, stay at home and only go out unless completely necessary. And stay safe.
