Dear member,
As of 30 April, there are now over 600 registered members in Walterstown GFC, the highest number ever in our history.
Whether you are a player, parent, family member or supporter we wish you all a very successful year and hope that the club continues to be an integral part of your daily lives.
The clubhouse facilities including the bar and function room for 250 people are available to all members for family celebrations. We hope you consider your local club when choosing a suitable venue.
O Briens Lounge and Restaurant in Johnstown have recently agreed to extend their sponsorship of Walterstown GFC for 2018. As a community, we believe that members should support their own.
This year, the club is striving to strengthen its links with the schools in the parish through our schools coaching programme, while through the support of participating households, we are hosting 2 teams and their parents from Armagh and Kerry as part of Féile 2018.
We are endeavouring to ensure that Walterstown GFC as hosts for Féile, is shown in the best possible light both on and off the field. We sincerely hope that all members will come out and support our boys and girls teams in the last weekend of June.
Yours
Stan Cooney
Chairman—Walterstown GFC
