The club are absolutely delighted to announce that three of our U14 girls have been selected for inclusion on the Meath LGFA U14 panel for 2021.
Goalkeeper Siún Murtagh, corner back Niamh McGuinness and full forward Caoimhe McKenna got the call up from Meath U14 boss Vernon Savage recently. The club have no doubt these three talented young ladies will be superb additions to the panel and will also be great ambassadors for the Walterstown club.

Both Murtagh and McKenna have been involved at county level in the past, while Niamh McGuinness picked up a Meath Cumann na mBunscoil Spirit of the Final Awards in Dunganny last year. Niamh was a part of the Lismullen National School team who took on Kilcloon in the Cumann na mBunscoil Division 2 final in Pairc Tailteann.

Well done also to the girls’ coach Chris Foy, who has worked tirelessly with the girls at club level, constantly helping them improve week on week and ensuring they enjoy their football in Walterstown.
We can’t wait to see Siún, Niamh and Caoimhe in the green and gold!
