On a beautiful Indian summer evening with the thermometer still nudging 20 degrees Walterstown took on Dunboyne on Monday evening. Walterstown dominated from the off and went in at half time 2:05 to 0:01.
After the break the scoring continued and Walterstown went on to win 3:20 to 0:01.
Impressive on the evening were Mollie Grey , who bagged 2 goals and 4 points and Ellen Hennelly demonstrated how good she is with the left foot , scoring an impressive 7 points from play.
The defense was rarely threatened and was well marshalled by Jenny Daly, Martina O Neill and Yvonne Hynes.
There is little rest for the ladies as they are back in action on Thursday evening away to St Utlans in the penultimate round of the championship.
