It is with great pride that, yesterday, September 13, the club learned that we are the 2022 recipients of the GAA MacNamee Award for Digital Impact.
The GAA MacNamee Awards are held annually by the GAA, to honour excellence in the area of communications, public relations and journalism. These awards are named after the late Pádraig MacNamee, former President of the GAA, Chairman of the GAA Commission (1969-1971) and member of RTÉ authority.
The club’s PR Committee, consisting of PRO Ruth Chambers, Alicia Reynolds and Dave Clarke, were deemed best in digital class for 2022 having illustrated innovation in their use of technology, creation of content and online community engagement.
The PR Committee’s Digital Marketing strategy has lead to a surge in sponsorship revenue, membership, online engagement, on-ground engagement through both organic and paid content.
