The club AGM will take place on Monday, December 21 at 8pm via Microsoft Teams. In what has been a very strange year, we have no option but to host a virtual Annual General Meeting, as per the recommendation from Croke Park.

The AGM is open for all members to attend and if you wish to join the meeting please email club PRO Ruth Chambers on pro.walterstown.meath@gaa.ie by 6pm on Sunday evening, December 20. Please provide your full name and preferred email address when contacting the PRO.

You will then receive an invitation to the meeting via email. Members will also be furnished with instructions on how to access the meeting for those not familiar with using Microsoft Teams.

Nomination forms for the election of officers for 2021 were sent to members via email and made available online. Nominations were received by the deadline on Friday last, December 11. You can see details of this here.

There will be a contest for two positions; firstly the position of Vice Chairperson and secondly the County Board Delegate position. Please note that to be able to vote, you must have paid your membership on or before October 31, 2020, as per the Croke Park rule for 2020. Our registrar Brian Farrell will check the membership status of those in attendance before Monday night’s meeting.

Voting will be completed online and instructions on how to do same will be given during the meeting. We assure you it is a simple process! Our voting has been set up to allow only one vote per IP address (Internet Protocol address) and it will also be an anonymous vote.

Should any members have any further queries about the above please contact PRO Ruth Chambers and she will be happy to assist you.
